Apps

Theopolis Institute

We love what Peter Leithart, James Jordan, and the team are doing with Theopolis — teaching Christians to lead cultural renewal by renewing the church. Visit their website or download their app. All content is original content. Free or premium subscription levels.

Canon Plus

Doug Wilson and the church movement in Moscow, Idaho have put together a robust and hard-hitting app with content that pulls no punches. It aims to make Christian families grow stronger together. Content includes podcasts, audio books, videos, and more. Limited free account. Paid premium account.

Relearn.org

This is a fantastic source of content from Dale Partridge and the team at Relearn.org. They call it, “The Ultimate App of Theological Audiobooks & eBooks for the Family.” We agree! There is an immense amount of content for the whole family. Some is original content from Dale Partridge and friends. But most is classic and historical Christian content. Requires paid subscription.

Podcasts

The Symbolic World

An online community project started by Jonathan Pageau that is re-enchanting the Christian faith by looking a scripture, religion, and life through a homiletic of symbolism and meaning. Includes original podcasts, contributor articles, commentary, and art. And they have started a publishing company that’s reimagining fairytales.

Truth Unites

Gavin Ortlund has built an apologetics ministry that aims to clarify and redeem the division between Protestant and Catholic traditions. Truth Unites tackles critical teachings, misconceptions, and traditions from church history that, when understood, help unite believers in Christ with one another under the true faith.

Books

The Book of Common Worship (Presbyterian)

The Book of Common Prayer (Anglican)

Used by the Protestant church in one form or another since 1662, useful for leaning about and building rhythms/liturgies into personal and corporate worship.

Be Thou My Vision: A Liturgy for Daily Worship

Not your average daily devotional, Jonathan Gibson has created a 31-day liturgical guide designed to provide structure to the daily worship of individuals and families. Each day includes a call to worship, adoration, confession, assurance, creed and catechism, the Gloria Patri, a prayer of illumination, Bible reading, intercessory prayer, and the Lord’s Prayer.

A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23

W. Phillip Keller, a pastor and also an actual shepherd of sheep, encourages and inspires Christians with a modern classic. He brings depth, richness, and reality into our understanding of Psalm 23, producing new insights into the heart of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
